Jackman’s 2011 record: 22-10

This is the week in which things get a little more interesting. Teams that are 2-0 should be the favorites, but with Buffalo and Washington sitting undefeated, it makes things much tougher to predict. So with that, here are my Week Three picks.

New England vs. Buffalo: Another week, another victory for the so-called “no-name Bills”. They can put up points in a hurry, and the Patriots’ D doesn’t exactly look like it can stop the Amish Riffle- Ryan Fitzpatrick.

San Francisco vs. Cincinnati: Andy Dalton has put up some pretty crooked numbers already in his first two games, I see no reason why that would stop versus the lackluster 49er’s.

Miami vs. Cleveland: The only way the Browns will win this season is if Peyton Hillis has a big game. The Dolphins have only given up one rushing TD this year, sorry Hillis.

Denver vs. Tennessee: The Hasselbeck to Britt connection has been hard to ignore, but the very slow start for CJ spells trouble for the Titans. However, the Broncos’ woes against the run are well documented. Johnson has break out game.

Detroit vs. Minnesota: Matthew Stafford is a beast, and Megatron is playing a huge part of that. Even Jahvid Best is getting in on the action with two TD’s last week in a blowout win over the Chiefs.

Houston vs. New Orleans: Houston is legitimate and they will prove it this week over Drew Brees and the Saints. Matt Schaub has proven he can win with Slaton, Tate, or Foster at running back. This week is no different.

New York (N) vs. Philadelphia: Eli Manning has virtually no weapons at wideout and an inconsistent running game behind him. Meanwhile, Vick has been cleared to play, which spells trouble for the G-Men.

Jacksonville vs. Carolina: I seriously feel like the Jags were planning on starting Gabbert versus Newton this week from the second they drafted him. However, Newton will get his first professional win while NOT throwing for 400 yards.

New York (A) vs. Oakland: Hmm… the Jets’ run defense or the Raiders’ ground attack? I unfortunately have to go with the Jets in this one, but it is going to be a very close one.

Baltimore vs. St. Louis: I seriously cannot believe the Rams are winnless, and will continue to be so after their matchup with, what I expect to be, a very angry Ravens team out for revenge after last weeks loss.

Kansas City vs. San Diego: The Chiefs look absolutely terrible this year and now are minus Jamaal Charles for the year. That means the Chargers are going to run away with this one early despite Gates not being a factor.

Green Bay vs. Chicago: While I think the Packers are the superior team overall this year, they have a hard time beating the Bears at home. If Jay Cutler gets sacked less than four times, the Bears win.

Arizona vs. Seahawks: I will tell you right now, I will not once pick the Seahawks to win this year.

Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay: Matt Ryan and Michael Turner need to step it up and raise this offense to a new level. They showed flashes last week versus the Eagles, but they are going to need to be consistent on the road against the Bucs.

Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis: At the beginning of the year I thought the Colts could be at least half way decent with Kerry Collins at the helm. I was wrong. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice- I’m must be an idiot.

Washington vs. Dallas: If leading the Cowboys to a huge fourth quarter comeback with a broken rib and punctured lung doesn’t get the monkeys off Tony Romo’s back, a win over the surprising Redskins will.
