Pickin’ it and Winnin’ It Week 6 Picks: Marshall Gets Ejected; Jets Back to .500 on Monday Night

(47-30) Jackman Games Mette (42-35)
I think the Bills can beat just about anyone in the league. The Giants are so inconsistent, I don’t think they can handle Buffalo this week, even at home. Fred Jackson should have a big day Bills Bills vs. Giants Giants I still cannot pull myself to pick the Bills and still keep picking Eli. The G Men playing at home this week forced me to go with them. Maybe if the Bills win this week, I’ll jump on their bandwagon.
Andy Dalton and A.J. Green are already one of the best QB-WR combos in the NFL. That should be on full display against the woeful Colts Bengals Colts vs. Bengals Bengals The Colts are awful. Therefore, the Bengals win this game. Enough said.
I’m still not sold on the Redskins and their stingy defense. Plus I just can’t put my chips on Rex Grossman- he’s due for a horrible day. Eagles Eagles vs. Redskins Eagles Looking at the standings, you’d think this is a crazy pick, but the Eagles just can’t lose five of their first six. Or can they???
Packers are light-years ahead of the Rams. It would take a minor miracle for the St. Louis to win. Packers Rams vs. Packers Packers I hate to admit it, but Green Bay is the best team in the NFL. It’s as simple as that. Not even a close one.
Roethlisberger was hurt last week and still threw for 5 TD’s and led the Steelers to victory. The Jaguars are just a minor speed bump for Big Ben. Steelers Jaguars vs. Steelers Steelers Big Ben finally got some protection, and look what happened. Can the Steelers we all know start rolling again? Not a bad time to start against a poor jaguars team.
I feel like the Lions are the superior team, but my gut is telling me that the 49ers defense will limit Detroit’s offense. Plus Alex Smith is doing a great job at managing the game. 49ers 49ers vs. Lions 49ers It’s time for this happy train to end. The niners have been playing great with the help of Gore, Davis, and their defense. Ford Field has been electric, but this is my upset pick of the week.
Atlanta is really struggling on defense and Cam Newton should be able to exploit it frequently. If the Panthers can get Williams and Stewart involved… watch out. Panthers Panthers vs. Falcons Falcons The current cellar of the NFC South needs to start picking up some wins. The veteran gets the better of the rookie here in a must win before Tampa and the Brees’ start pulling away.
Browns have no hope of winning this game, Raiders just have too much momentum on their side after last week. Raiders Browns vs. Raiders Raiders I don’t think the Raiders can make a run in their division with the Chargers, but they definitely have what it takes to beat the Browns!!!
The Texans losing Mario Williams on top of Andre Johnson equals a bad loss to the Ravens. Ravens Texans vs. Ravens Ravens This battle of two first-place teams should be a good one between offense and defense. The Texans lost Mario, which means running all day for Baltimore.
The Bucs just don’t have any flow on offense and the Saints are so explosive on that side of the ball. Easy win. Saints Saints vs. Bucs Saints This is for first place, which means Drew Brees does not fail. The Bucs were torn apart by San Fran last week. They’ll play better, but will still lose.
Brady at home is automatic. Tony Romo on the road isn’t.  Patriots Cowboys vs. Patriots Patriots Well you can’t go against the Patriots after all the analysts made a huge deal about Brady’s current home win streak.
This is just wishful thinking, and if the Bears can’t pull it out, Chicago fans are going to go nuts. Bears Vikings vs. Bears Bears The Bears’ 3 losses came against the Saints at home, the defending Super Bowl Champs, and a Lions team that has finally put things together. Their overall record is 14-1. I like DA BEARS!!!
Dolphins are terrible, and Marshall is now saying he wants to be ejected. Jets win another bad Monday night game. Jets Dolphins vs. Jets Jets Not a great opportunity for the Fins to pick up their first win. Another average Monday Night Football Game.
